How TISAX Assessment results are categorised
There can be a conformity or non conformity in the TISAX Assessment.
TISAX Assessment Non conformities are divided in Minor non conformity or Major non conformity.
In case of Minor non conformities, Temporary TISAX label is issued until all Non conformities are closed.
In case of Major non conformities, TISAX label is not issued until non conformities are closed.
After completion of Initial assessment, if non conformities are found then initial assessment will be followed by
a) Corrective action plan assessment
b) Follow up assessment
After completion of Follow up Assessment, suitable TISAX label is issued depending on TISAX objective selected initially.
TISAX labels shall be renewed at every 3 years or whenever change in TISAX assessment scope / objective happens

What are TISAX Assessment Levels
Assessment Level 1 – It is a type of Self Assessment. However, trust on such assessment is less.
Assessment Level 2 – In this assessment, Auditor does an online plausibility check of self assessment results. This includes online interview. However, if prototype is assessment objective then onsite inspection is mandatory.
Assessment Level 3 – In this assessment, Auditor does onsite inspection.
What is TISAX Assessment Criteria
The information security assessment ISA is a criteria catalogue published by German Association of Automotive Industry – VDA. This catalogue is a standard for information security assessments
There are mainly 3 ISA criteria catalogues
Information Security ( Suitable if TISAX assessment objective is No. 1 & No. 2 in Objective table )
Prototype Protection ( Suitable if TISAX assessment objective is No. 3 to No. 6 in Objective table )
